PAUL KOLLMAN, CSC, is a historian of religion in eastern Africa, and he is currently preparing a manuscript on Catholic missionary evangelization of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. He has published The Evangelization of Slaves and Catholic Origins in Eastern Africa (2005), Understanding World Christianity: Eastern Africa (2018), and numerous articles on African Christianity, mission history, and world Christianity.
